State Fair Livestock Entry Forms
Jr.
Fair Livestock entries for the Ohio State Fair must be postmarked by June
20. All FFA livestock entries for the state fair must be signed by
the exhibitor’s FFA advisor. Don’t wait until the last minute to
have your entries signed.

regulations and entry forms for the state fair may be found online.
Our
office is unable to provide copies of this information due to budget restrictions.

Pullorum Testing
Poultry Pullorum Test Clinics
will be held at the fairgrounds on Tuesday, June 26 and Wednesday, July
18. Testing will be available from 6:00-9:00pm on both dates.
All fancy chickens, pheasants,
quail and guineas must be tested in order to be able to show at the fair.
All waterfowl (ducks and geese) are exempt from testing. Turkeys
in the breeding class and over one year of age must be blood tested by
a certified veterinarian.
These testing clinics are
offered by Brian Rismiller, Aaron Kruckeberg and Krista Fourman,
all of whom are certified with the Ohio Poultry Association.

Committee Preview Show and Clinic will be held June 23 at the fairgrounds.

Fairbooks
are available from our office or from the Secretary’s Office on the fairgrounds.
Our office also has the Jr. Fair Green Pages, for those who don’t want
the complete book. Books may be picked up anytime during regular
business hours. Please note: the Secretary’s Office on the fairgrounds
only has the complete fairbook, not the green pages by themselves.
The green pages may also be found online.

Mercer
County is hosting a Poultry Clinic on Saturday, June 30, beginning at 9:00am.
Purina Mills will be conducting the clinic. Contact Arliss
Meinerding, 410-202-2764 for additional information.

Fair
Entry Packets and Information
Fair packets and entry forms
are available from our office. FFA advisors, or someone to whom they
delegate this responsibility, may pick up information for your chapter.
Entry forms will also be
available on our web site.
Please check each form to
verify the entry deadline. NO LATE ENTRIES WILL BE ACCEPTED.
Also, instructors should
verify that each exhibitor has completed their Quality Assurance and skillathon
requirements, prior to submitting their fair entries.

Ohio State Fair Office by July 1, 2007.

Junior Fair Scholarships

The Goat and Rabbit Scholarships are currently online, with the application
for lambs coming soon.
Completed applications are
due to our office by 4:30pm, August 1.
