Dear
Reader,
As the year winds
down, I want to take this opportunity to thank you for your dedication
to our 4-H program.
This year, Darke
County had 1,145 youth enrolled in community 4-H clubs. We welcomed
two new clubs to the roster, as well. Nearly 255 adult volunteers
served as leaders and role models for our youth. Our program would
not be possible without each and every one of you!
The 2007 calendar
will be available soon. It will be posted to the web as soon as meeting
dates are finalized. A copy will also be included with the club handbook
updates for 2007.
The following Super
Saturday Seminars are scheduled for 2007: January 20: Advisor Update;
February 24: Officer Update; March 24: Lend a Helping Hand: and April 28:
Topic to be announced. All seminars will be held at the Extension
Office beginning at 10:00am. Registration deadline is the Wednesday
before each Super Saturday.
In closing:
“The only people
you should try to get even with are those who have helped you.”
