Congratulations, Neal!
Please join me
in congratulating Neal Eikenberry for winning the National 4-H Electricity
Qualifier in September. This is Neal’s second national title.
He won last year’s computer qualifier.
Neal won the
state competition during the Ohio State Fair, which enabled him to compete
at the national level.
Competition was
held at Purdue University in September. Neal traveled with the Ohio
team to the event. While there he also had the opportunity to participate
in educational field trips at Purdue and in Indianapolis.
All together,
Ohio participants won four contests at nationals.
Neal is an active
member of the Genesis 4-H Club and also a Junior Fairboard member.
He participates in numerous school activities at Greenville High School and
plans a career in computer electrical engineering.
Neal is the son
of Vern and Deanna Eikenberry.
Congratulations,
Neal! We’re proud of you!

Thank
You Notes
If you received
a trophy or special award or sold an animal through one of the livestock
auctions, send a thank you note to your sponsor or buyer.
Ads in the newspaper
or signs above stalls/pens at the fair are great, but they should not be
considered as a replacement for taking the time to write a personal note.
I hope YOU won’t
be the reason a sponsor ends his or her relationship with 4-H or Junior Fair.
Take time to
let the community know how much we value and appreciate their support.
