    Blast Off! a free-to-attend online parent education series is back. The sessions use Active Parenting curricula--videos and discussions to introduce information concepts that may help participants to improve their parenting. Blast Off! This series will be held on September 10, 11, 12, and 13 and will focus on the first 5 years. All sessions in this series start at 9a.m. and will end at 11a.m. Joseph Maiorano, PhD, your Blast Off! flight crew, will lead your journey toward improved and less stressful parenting.

    Join Caden Buschur for a presentation about a beauty of nature, the Monarch Butterfly. Caden will discuss the biology and lifecycle of this delicate creature, it’s role in pollination and the environment, and what we can do to support them.

    Shared Harvest is preparing boxes to be distributed to Darke County residents for this hands-free food distribution. A family receiving food will need to bring photo id and a piece of mail and will provide verbal self-attestation for income.

    Please join us on Friday, August 23, 2024 at The Friday Sampler as we celebrate The Art of Quilting. This event will take place from 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. at the Youth Building at The Great Darke County Fair. This is a free event, open to all community members. This is the thirty-ninth year for The Friday Sampler at the Darke County Fair, sponsored by the 2024 Darke County Agricultural Society and the OSU Extension, Darke County. 9:00 a.m. -   Welcome - Tina McGillvary, Emcee; Kathy Street, Towne Squares Quilt Club, Treasurer
