Topics covered will include:     Equipment     Supplies     Canning Procedure     Trusted Resources and Recipes Bring in your canner lid for testing during the workshop. *All-American canners cannot be tested

    Bring your questions and your knowledge to the Darke County Garden Roundtable. Starting this May, Caden will be hosting the Garden Roundtable monthly to discuss various topics.     Darke County Youth must have QA completed by June 1, 2024. All youth who exhibit market animals, lactating dairy, or lactating goats are required by Ohio law to complete Quality Assurance (QA) prior to exhibition. QA must be completed a minimum of 45 days prior to exhibition of the animal(s). Reminder: All first and second year market and lactating dairy and goat exhibitors (regardless of the age of the exhibitor) must have a parent or guardian attend QA along with the exhibitor.

    JOIN YOUR BLAST OFF! FLIGHT CREW: Joseph Maiorano and other educators will lead your JOURNEY toward improved and less stressful parenting. During these 4 session virtual workshops, we use Active Parenting curriculum to introduce you to tools that may help you to raise responsible, confident children, and to navigate through issues that many parents struggle with. This workshop is for parents of teen-age children. The virtual sessions will take place on May 14, 15, 16, and 17 from 12:30pm to 2:30pm.

    Shared Harvest is preparing boxes to be distributed to Darke County residents for this hands-free food distribution. A family receiving food will need to bring photo id and a piece of mail and will provide verbal self-attestation for income.
