  1. Pesticide and Fertilizer Recertification Class

    Caden Buschur will be offering two recertification opportunities in 2024. The second class for pesticide and/or fertilizer recertification will be held at Darke County DD, 5844 Jaysville-St Johns Rd, Greenville on Thursday, February 22, 2024. Click here to download registration form. Pesticide : 9:00 a.m. to noon, Fertilizer: 1 p.m. to 2 p.m,  RSVP by February 19

  2. New Fertilizer Certification Class

    Feb. 13, 2024 6:00pm to 9:00pm

    A 3-hour class is being offered for those farmers wanting to become certified to meet fertilizer requirements. In Ohio, any farmer applying fertilizer (other than manure) to more than 50 acres of agricultural land must have their Fertilizer Certification. The training covers proper applications and record keeping, understanding Ohio water quality issues, nutrient management for crops and other topics related to fertilizer use on agricultural land.

  3. Shared Harvest

    Jan. 24, 2024 3:00pm to 5:00pm

    Shared Harvest is preparing boxes to be distributed to Darke County residents for this hands-free food distribution. This will be the first distribution of 2024. A family receiving food will need to bring photo id and a piece of mail and will provide verbal self-attestation for income.
