Join Tina McGillvary, Darke County Extension FCS Educator, for an evening of yogurt making.
You will learn the art and science of making delicious, homemade yogurt from scratch. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced cook, this workshop
will give you the skills and confidence to make your own probiotic-rich yogurt at home.

What You’ll Learn:

  2. Ingredients & Tools – Choosing and sourcing local  milk, cultures, and essential equipment.
  3. Step-by-Step Yogurt Making – Heating, culturing, and incubating yogurt for perfect results.
  4. Troubleshooting & Tips – How to fix common issues like runny or overly tangy yogurt.
  5. Customizing Your Yogurt – Flavoring, sweetening, and adding mix-ins like fruit, honey, and granola.
