Level 2 Food Safety Training

Certification Exam and Online Training

Meets Ohio Department of Health requirements for Level 2 Certification in Food Protection

Don’t have the time to sit through a Level 2 Food Safety Training?  Can’t find one near you? We have the answer!

OSU Extension has partnered with TAP (Training Achievement Program) Series to offer an online version of Level 2 Food Safety training that meets all ODH requirements. You can complete the online course at your own speed and at a time that works for you. Once training is completed, you will take a proctored certification exam at OSU Extension, Darke County. One purchase, one trip.

Please register by the deadline. Limit – 4 PER CLASS. Masks are required while inside the OSU Extension, Learning Center.

March 4, 1:00-3:00 - deadline 2/14/21

April 22, 1:00-3:00 - deadline 03/22/21

May 20, 1:00-3:00 - deadline 04/20/21

June – By Appointment Only

July – By Appointment Only

August 12, 1:00-3:00 - deadline 07/12/21

September 16, 1:00-3:00 - deadline 08/16/21

October 28, 1:00-3:00 - deadline 09/28/21

November 18, 1:00-3:00 - deadline 10/18/21

December 9, 1:00-3:00 - deadline 11/09/21

*Registration fee of $150 is non-refundable for both the online class and exam. There is an additional fee of $25 to reschedule the exam. The ServSafe® exam is proctored by an OSU Extension Educator who is a Certified ServSafe® Proctor. NOTE: You can only retest four (4) times in a 12-month period of time.
