Dr. Roseanne Scammahorn from OSU Extension, Darke County joined forces with the Ohio Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services (OhioMHAS) to offer online Trauma-Informed Care training to community members. For the past 3 years, OhioMHAS has partnered with the ADAMHS Board of Montgomery County to provide a three-hour Trauma 101 training with topics ranging from Prevalence of Trauma, Resiliency, Recovery.

Darke County, Ohio -- It’s just about time to fetch canners out of the basement or garage. Fresh summer produce is on its way. When was the last time your dial gauge pressure canner was tested for accuracy? If it’s been more than one year, it’s time for a re-check. OSU Extension will be testing dial gauge pressure canners on June 11th at the OSU Extension Office, Darke County, 603 Wagner Avenue, Greenville.

ANSONIA, OH -- Shared Harvest Foodbank, in partnership with the Ohio Army National Guard and Ohio Reserves, will host a “drive-thru” food distribution at Ansonia Local Schools, June 17th.
The Ohio Army National Guard is again preparing food boxes for Darke County families at the foodbank.
