Adults interested in becoming 4-H Volunteers in Darke County have until February 15, 2020 to submit their completed applications.  NO LATE APPLICATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED. 

Becoming a 4-H Volunteer requires interested persons to submit a completed application which includes complete contact information for three non-related references, undergo a fingerprint background check (FBI background check if applicant has lived in Ohio less than five years), complete an interview with the 4-H Educator, and attend a two-hour orientation meeting (includes Policy 1.50 training).  All phases of the application process must be completed by April 1, 2020.

New 4-H Volunteer Orientation meetings are scheduled as follows.  All trainings will be held at OSU Extension, Darke County, 603 Wagner Avenue, Greenville, at the time indicated.  New 4-H Volunteers need to attend only one of these trainings.

  • Monday, February 17, 2020 - 7:00pm
  • Tuesday, March 31, 2020 - 7:00pm

New Cloverbud Volunteers will be required to attend one additional training, dates and times to be determined.
