The 2021 Darke County 4-H Communications Contest will be an in-person event on Monday, June 7, 6:30pm, Extension Office.  Due to current guidelines related to COVID-19, presenters will be assigned speaking times and the audience size will be limited.  Masks will be required for all participants and audience members.  Speaking times and additional information will be sent to the presenters once all registrations have been received.  In the event that the number of presentations exceeds the number of available time slots on June 7, a second evening of competition will be held Tuesday, June 8.

The Communications Contest includes both Health & Safety Speaking and Demonstrations and Illustrated Talks.  See the rules for details.  All entries must be received by Monday May 24, 2021.  Due to the necessity of scheduling presentation times, NO LATE ENTRIES will be accepted this year. 

The Darke County 4-H Committee sponsors this event and will award cash prizes to the top three placings in each category.  Winners of the Health & Safety Speaking Contest will advanced to regional competition in Columbus.  Winners of the Demonstrations and Illustrated Talks Contest will advance to state fair competition.
