All youth who exhibit market animals, lactating dairy, or lactating goats are required by Ohio law to complete Quality Assurance (QA) prior to exhibition. QA must be completed a minimum of 45 days prior to exhibition of the animal(s).
Youth must have QA completed by June 1, 2022.
**NEW IN 2022: All first and second year market and lactating dairy and goat exhibitors (regardless of the age of the exhibitor) must have a parent or guardian attend QA along with the exhibitor.**
Remaining QA options for 2022 include:
- VIRTUAL QA sessions will be offered via Zoom. (Please note: due to bandwidth issues, virtual sessions are limited to a maximum of 20/per session.) Register HERE to attend a virtual session. DUE TO THE NUMBER OF DARKE COUNTY YOUTH WHO NEED TO COMPLETE QA, NO OUT OF COUNTY REGISTRATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED FOR VIRTUAL SESSIONS.
- Tuesday, May 31 - 7:00pm - Online course: Youth for the Quality Care of Animals (YQCA)
There is a $12.00 fee per youth for this course.
Upon completion of the online YQCA course, a copy of the completion certificate MUST be emailed to Rhonda Williams
