The Darke County 4-H Committee is pleased to announce the availability of the application for the Sharon Fourman Memorial, Darke County 4-H Volunteer of the Year award.
This award recognizes 4-H volunteers who have gone above and beyond in their contributions to the 4-H program. It is named in honor of Sharon Fourman, who served as a 4-H volunteer in Darke County for 30 years. Sharon volunteered her time and talents to many different aspects of the 4-H program, as well as community organizations. Sharon is fondly remembered for her love of 4-H, her sense of humor, and her contagious laughter!
Current 4-H Volunteers who meet the application's criteria may be nominated by other 4-H volunteers, former or current 4-H members, parents of 4-H members, community members, etc. Applications should include the completed cover page, narratives, and two letters of recommendations. Completed applications are due to the Extension Office by 4:30pm on February 10, 2020. See the application for complete details.
