Meets Ohio Department of Health requirements for Level 2 Certification in Food Protection

 

Don’t have the time to sit through a Level 2 Food Safety Training?  Can’t find one near you? We have the answer!

OSU Extension has partnered with TAP (Training Achievement Program) Series to offer an online version of Food Protection Manager Certification training which meets all ODH requirements. You can complete the online course at your own speed and at a time that works for you. Once training is completed, you will take a proctored certification exam at OSU Extension, Darke County.  One purchase, one trip.

Seating is limited. Please print registration form and submit with payment by the deadline. 

 

2026 Examination Dates:

November 4, 1:00-3:00 - deadline 10/04/2026

December 2, 1:00-3:00 - deadline 11/02/2026

 

Cost: $150/person*

Limit to 5 participants per test date. 

*Registration fee of $150 is non-refundable for both the online class and exam. There is an additional fee of $25 to reschedule the exam. The ServSafe® exam is proctored by an OSU Extension Educator who is a Certified ServSafe® Proctor. NOTE: You can only retest four (4) times in a 12-month period of time.
