“We love to laugh, loud and long and clear. We love to laugh, so ev’rybody can hear!” Just the words from the song, I love to laugh, from the movie Mary Poppins make us chuckle and brighten our mood. There is healing in laughter! This workshop is a hands-on learning experience focused on the physical and mental health benefits of incorporating laughter into our lives, no matter our age or our profession.

As I was scrolling through Facebook, I came across a meme that said, “Laughter is like a windshield wiper, it doesn’t stop the rain but allows us to keep going.” I had not thought of laughter like that, but I recently found this saying to be accurate.
